I am finally adding some new items into my Dishythicket shop, with some brand new kitchen and children's artwork. Actually, some of these, as seen above, could be both! :) And, as usual, I will add a print of each to be purchased, as the weeks progress.
I will also try and add at least one new item each day, for the next week or so, then at one item per week, thereafter. In other words, be sure and check back, if you like the kind of art in my Dishythicket shop.

I really enjoy your 'Girl' series...may I ask what was used to color in the dress, tomatoes, hair, rosey cheeks, etc.? I love the effect of whatever it is.

Thanks for saying so Raedmund! This series does not get a lot of attention currently, and I actually liked it quite a bit.
Simply, I use prismacolor markers. If handled well, you can get a lineless coloring, and they have a lot of shades and hues to convey some nice colors.
Hope that helps!
Thanks again, God Bless, Nat :)

I think that you've just inspired me to give them a try myself; thanks for the hot tip, Nat!

Very 1920s/30s. I like this and the other a lot.

I got that feel for this too! My Mother also said this. I like that it translated that way-thank you Nibble.

The color of her cheeks is so cute! And I really like how you shaded her bottoms with white.

There's a very nostalgic feel to this picture (and the onion one)... sort of a 1920s feeling.

So very cute, too.

Thanks CrazyFoxMoon, more are on the way. I like this little girl and her appreciation of the garden. :)
