St Philomena ACEO

This is the teen Saint Philomena! She is very interesting, because despite knowing very little about her at all, she has created a growing devotion, year after year.
She lived in the days of the catacombs, where those who chose to be Christians had to hide out in caves from those who wished to kill those who believed in Christ.
The remains of her body were found in one of these catacombs, and taken to the Vatican in Rome. And upon arriving there, many miracles occurred, simply from being near her relics!
It is estimated she was killed at about 14 years of age, and is commonly represented in art holding a palm leaf, with an anchor or arrows-symbolizing her death.
She is the patron saint of infants, toddlers, those who are infertile, lost causes and the poor, among other things.
A very intriguing young Saint indeed!
