In an effort to create more awareness of options for those facing an unexpected pregnancy, I made this online poster.
Many times, those who do not wish to keep a child, think that abortion is the easiest answer, but this is certainly not the only choice. If a pregnant person would only be willing to hang in there for the length of the pregnancy, adoption is a very joyous way to give the child a chance at a better life with a new family.
Babies, in particular, are the most desired of the children at orphanages, with many, many couples on waiting lists, hoping for an infant.
Edgar Allan Poe, Debbie Harry(of the band Blondie),Nat King Cole and George Washington Carver are just a few of the people who made unique marks in our culture, and were adopted. Give it a go! :)

I got the image in my mind of a young, punk-styled girl, who perhaps found herself pregnant. But ever being the rebel, she ignored the 'status quo' and decided if she couldn't keep her child, someone else should.

Ink drawn and colored, the scanned, and a digital background/border.

Woot! I <3 this poster! Adoption is such a beautiful thing. Many friends of mine are adopted. In fact, one family whom I am friends with just recently adopted two little girls, a few months apart from each other.

It's "a chance, to me", as in,'to me, he deserves a chance", only reversed. Perhaps it would have been better the other way round, but I was so eager to get this image out and about, I let it slide.
Maybe a comma there would have been better?
