Hanging Bat Barrette SOLD

Please note! This sold almost immediately after I listed it in my shop, but never fear! I am making three more for my shop asap, and will list more pics as soon as they are done. This will include another little brown fellow, a black vampire bat with red eyes, and a blue and orange fruit bat. Please stay tuned in the next 14 days for the updated image!

And here is my 2nd new leather accessory-a sweet lil hanging battie!
He has an easy-snap-on barrette backing, about midway down the length. And just like the poppy barrette I created, extremely easy to place in the hair.
Since I am new to this craft, I didn't consider that the barrette would show up as a slight outline underneath his tummy when closed. :embarrassed: However, otherwise, I am pretty pleased with him.
I think he would look especially nice, if you hair is put up in back, with some coming down around the shoulders. Then, he could be places near the upper part, where the hair is secured, on the upper side.
He certainly looks best when he's placed on the upper side of the head/hair, to give the effect that he is indeed hanging from your hair.
His face is very sweet, and was very lovingly constructed. Lightweight too.
And, if you look closely, you will see that I even placed tiny little vein lines inside his ears, to add to thje realism.
