Bejeweled Cat 6 by natamon Bejeweled Cat 6 by natamon
Here's Bejeweled Cat #6, from my latest series of feline artwork. This series presents all kinds of cats, in jewels and gems!
This kitty is a salty, pirate, sea-cat, who's cleft palate made him famous across the 7 seas as a dangerous and most dastardly character! He's wearing a gold, pearl, onyx and ivory necklace. In his paws, is the coveted map of his most secret treasure in a glass bottle.
#6 features the cat Keifer! Thank you :iconxwereallmadherex: for allowing me to use this unique kitty's likeness for my series. :)

:::::::NOTE:::::::
If anyone would like to volunteer their kitty cat to be a model in the series, simply comment here, and attach a link, or send me a note here on DA with a link. I will add it to a list of cats I will seriously consider, and any cat is a good candidate(even one-eyed and blind kitties, or those with a missing paw).
Clear, closeups(or larger, full-sized images) of the potential cat models is a must to be selected, and if I select your cat, I will send you a free print of the artwork. How about that!

Hey Nat! Gorgeous kitties as always! I just love your work! Finally found you on here. Have you ever considered doing a Bunny series? Just curious. Maybe Geckos? A pirate Gecko, perhaps? Or maybe a Professor Gecko with a monocle. HA!

Hey joyous123-where do you previously see my work before finding me here? I am always intrigued by that sorta thing.:nod:
I have considered doing other animals, namely, birds first, but since I am doing a lot more sculpting, it's prevented me from doing that much more 2-d artwork. More posts as soon as possible though! *waves*

I know! But it certainly doesn't slow him down, or prevent him from 'ruling the roost' at his house, so to speak.:)
The owner(who commented below), says Keifer has lots of attitude, which suits her just fine! Animals are extremely fortunate in the way of not truly understanding how they look. Missing paw, missing ear, clift palate-none of it matters in the cat world. That has always been a facinating thing to me. :)
And I really would like to find a kitty to feature who might be polydactyl, or I add one of the blind cats from the Blind Cat Sanctuary on Facebook. I think the idea of a sweet, blind kitty with all manner of pretty jewels and fancy surroundings would almost feel like something out of a fairytale.:meow:
