Princess Guinea Pig Commission by natamon
Princess Guinea Pig Commission
This is the finished commission, for a memorial of a very special piggy named, 'Anastasia'. She was deemed,'A Princess', and was said to be very girly and diva-like. To give her a proper tribute, I was asked to give her a tiara, and a giant pile of fruits and veggies on a shiny platter for her enjoyment.

Media: Mixed
Size: 8x10 inches
Signed prints of this piece are available in my art shop---> here

Laughing Saint Therese (version 2) by natamon
Laughing Saint Therese (version 2)

Generations of Catholics have admired this young saint, called her the "Little Flower", and found in her short life, more inspiration for own lives than in volumes by theologians.

Yet Therese died when she was 24, after having lived as cloistered Carmelite for less than ten years. She never went on missions, never founded a religious order, never performed great works. The only book of hers, published after her death, was an brief edited version of her journal called "Story of a Soul." (Collections of her letters and restored versions of her journals have been published recently.) But within 28 years of her death, the public demand was so great that she was canonized.

I created my previous version, as there are no laughing photographs of the Saint, so I thought it would be nice to create an artwork depicting her laughter(you can find my first version in my DA gallery in the 'Iconography' folder). This version was a request to create a custom, featuring many of the same details, but slightly different in it's own way. In this one, I also decided to add a little finch bird on her shoulder.

Prints of this piece will be available in my shop on 4-22-15. Feel free to check here to see it's availability.

Little Forest Polymer Clay Faker Gauge Earrings
These earrings give a little glimpse into a tiny little fairy tale forest, and it's adorable inhabitants.

Made entirely of polymer clay, with the look of wood, and an art nouveau flair. Each side holds a very tiny, miniature finch bird too. :meow:

                      Howdy Folks!
When it rains it pours, and as usual, I've been ever so busy since I last posted, in Autumn 2013.
I do have at least 3 vends coming up: The Labyrinth of Jareth Ball(Los Angeles), WinkieCon 50(Wizard of Oz Convention-San Diego), and The H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival(San Pedro/Los Angeles). WinkieCon is already a set date, and I am super excited about the goodies to be created for these!
I also have began even more sculpting than before, and am trying to keep my latest creations in stock in my Jewelry and Art stores, but alas, they keep finding new homes so soon! Still I am trying to keep a few goodies in there at all times. :meow:
I try to share more pics here more often, but most of my frequent updates are on my Facebook Art Page. Feel free to go visit it, to see even *more* special photos and creation updates.

And, as always, I am taking commissions year round. My waiting lists fill up fast, so remember to contact me a month or two in advance of any special custom piece you'd like made.
Anyhoo, more soon, be well all and Happy Lent and an even Happier Easter!!
                         Regards, Nat ;)

            Hi Crumb!
Based on your last comment on m Pirate Cat #2, I am assuming your question relates to where you can find my other Pirate Cats in the series I created? And the answer to that is, if you visit my gallery, please click on the 'Kitty City' folder, and you can view them there. They are mixed in with all my other feline works, but you can use the search feature on the folder and type in 'Pirate' to find them all'. :) Hope that helps!
