Custom Recreation of Pagan Min Peacock Brooch by natamon
Custom Recreation of Pagan Min Peacock Brooch

A commission piece request, of the gunmetal-style peacock brooch, worn by the villainous 'Pagan Min' character, of the video game,'Far Cry'. A few changes made to suit the customer-pink, aurora borealis coated pink glass gems(to give a feeling similar to Min's pink suit), the peacock head is facing the tail and the size was brought down a little bit, to make it more suitable for a feminine wearer.
Sculpted polymer clay, with an antique silver shimmer finish.

Clara The Steampunk Bounty Hunter Ferret by natamon
Clara The Steampunk Bounty Hunter Ferret
This is the third in my 'Steampunk Ferrets' series, 'Clara The Bounty Hunter Ferret'!

Miss Clara may be adorable, but don't let her cuteness fool you-she doubles as a dangerous bounty hunter! 'When the Law Needs A Paw', Clara combines toughness with a feminine touch. She's got a special Steampunk pistol created by her time traveling ferret,'Dr. Octavius', and when in need of a break, has a teapot in her bustle. :)

Fairy Ferret Polymer Clay Pendant and Brooch Pin by natamon
Fairy Ferret Polymer Clay Pendant and Brooch Pin
This little fellow confirms that yes, ferret fairies *do* exist! :)

I hand sculpted a sage green pendant, set with a reflective glass stone, which appears lavender, pink or green, depending on how the light hits it. Embellished with leaves, curls and a tiny glass harlequin cabochon, a cute little sable masked ferret hugs the pendant on it's left side. On his back are two little pale pink wings, with a slight lavender shimmer.

You can find this creation and many more, in my jewelry shop. :)

'Sir Snowy' Polymer Clay Brooch Pin by natamon
'Sir Snowy' Polymer Clay Brooch Pin
      Owl Flight
The is the next in my series of,'Woodland Gentleman', called,'Sir Snowy'.
I created this original, snow owl design in polymer clay, and set it with two, hand crafted glass eyes. Wearing a brass monocle and chain, sitting atop his head is a fine top hat with delicate lacing detail. Finally, a tiny little, red-eyed mouse rests there, outside of his view.
The back holds a barpin closure to attach to your clothing and is engraved with the artist's date and signature. Completely one of a kind, never to be duplicated the same way.

The pin measures approximately 2 1/2 inches(about 6.3cm) tall and 1 5/8th's of a inch(4cm) wide. The little mousey is only 1 inch long.

You can find him, and many more goodies, in my Jewelry Shop.

                      Howdy Folks!
When it rains it pours, and as usual, I've been ever so busy since I last posted, in Autumn 2013.
I do have at least 3 vends coming up: The Labyrinth of Jareth Ball(Los Angeles), WinkieCon 50(Wizard of Oz Convention-San Diego), and The H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival(San Pedro/Los Angeles). WinkieCon is already a set date, and I am super excited about the goodies to be created for these!
I also have began even more sculpting than before, and am trying to keep my latest creations in stock in my Jewelry and Art stores, but alas, they keep finding new homes so soon! Still I am trying to keep a few goodies in there at all times. :meow:
I try to share more pics here more often, but most of my frequent updates are on my Facebook Art Page. Feel free to go visit it, to see even *more* special photos and creation updates.

And, as always, I am taking commissions year round. My waiting lists fill up fast, so remember to contact me a month or two in advance of any special custom piece you'd like made.
Anyhoo, more soon, be well all and Happy Lent and an even Happier Easter!!
                         Regards, Nat ;)

Hi so you’re Catholic as well. How you doing? Any devotions to any saints? I have to St. Philomena. You know anything about her?

Hi Big-bad-Rocket!
I find some of my favorite saints are: St. Padre Pio, St. Gemma, St. Dymphna and The Blessed Mother. (I have a few Philomena pieces in my gallery.)
I do indeed know a little bit about St. Philomena, and despite there only being limited information about her life so long ago, it seems people really have grown to want to learn more about her.
Saints are wonnnderful friends to have on the other side. :)
